Every Digital camera has their own software. Every photo printer has their own software. You have picture editing software out there that have their solution. This is not easy.

The way we handle pictures here at Micro Business Computing is as follows using Windows XP Pro:

1. Take the pictures
2. Turn on the camera
3. Plug in the USB cable to the camera and the Computer
4. If you have a Pop Up that says "Windows can perform the same action each time you insert a disk or connect a device with this kind of file" click Cancel
5. Go to My Computer on your desktop
6. Select your camera under "Devices with Removable Storage"
7. You will probably have a folder named "DCIM" double click on it.
8. You will get another folder - double click on it
9. You will now see all you picture files from your camera
10. Click on the first one and then hold down the "Shift" key on your keyboard and then click on the last one in the list. This will select all the files
11. Got to Edit | Cut (if you want to remove the pictures from the camera) or Edit | Copy (if you want to just copy the pictures from the camera to your computer)
12. Now go to Start | My Computer
13. Double click on your name or the name you are logged in as on the computer - this will be at or near the top of the list.
14. Double click on "My Pictures"
15. Got to File | New | Folder | and type the name of the folder you want to put your pictures into. This should be different each time since you could have some duplicate picture names.
16. Select the folder by clicking on it
17. Edit | Paste
18. If you cut the pictures from the camera then now you camera is empty and your computer has all the pictures.
19. Now you can use your picture editor to modify and print your pictures.
